ARTIST STATEMENT

I have been making art since childhood, with a focus on visual arts, mainly drawing, painting, and illustration. Recently I added digital art and computer graphic design, a process that is as compelling as drawing and painting. I've been lucky to know and learn from many brilliant artists; in the comic book field where I worked for a time, in galleries where I've exhibited, and in some memorable art classes.

This portfolio represents examples of my design work, illustrations and studio art. There are prints available of many of the pieces, as well as some originals left for sale. I am available for design projects, illustration, commisioned paintings and exhibits.
